Oklahomans Need Abortion Care with Support and Compassion - Not Punishment!

No one should be forced to stay pregnant if they can’t or don’t want to. No one should be investigated or arrested for having a miscarriage or an abortion, or for helping someone you love get the care they need. It’s already happening in Oklahoma and will only get worse now that the Supreme Court and anti-abortion politicians took away our right to abortion.

There are safe, effective medications you can take at home to end a pregnancy, but there’s a risk: people who end their own pregnancies or those who help them have been targeted, reported, prosecuted, or even jailed.

By banning abortion and making it a crime, state officials will target us with more government surveillance, investigation, and control for ending or losing a pregnancy. Our health care and legal systems are racist, and abortion bans hurt the same people who are already targeted by police and struggle to get health care: People of color, young people, queer and trans folks, those who use substances, and those living with disabilities, in rural areas, or on limited funds.

Oklahomans deserve freedom from state violence and control over our own bodies, lives, and futures. We’re building power to take back control and fight for true reproductive justice, including the right to have or not to have a child and respect for families in all their forms. We’re here for our community and support is available.
